What is Northwest Woman Magazine’s Most Fabulous Women’s Choice 2008?

Northwest Woman’s Most Fabulous Women's Choice 2008 invites readers to nominate and vote for their favorite area establishments. We rely on our readers to provide us with the names of outstanding women and businesses in each of 50 categories. No special treatment is shown to Northwest Woman Magazine’s advertisers or business associates. Readers determine the nominees in each of 50 categories encompassing women’s favorite businesses, city life, shopping, restaurants, and escapes.

Users are not required to nominate in all categories but a minimum of 35 answers are required to qualify your vote to be entered into a contest. If a user nominates more than one business in a single category, the last entry will be counted and previous nominations for that category will be disregarded. However, users are permitted to nominate a single business in more than one category; for example, the same restaurant may be nominated for both "Italian" and "Romantic." If a nominated business name cannot be recognized by Northwest Woman Magazine, it may be disqualified. Northwest Woman Magazine reserves the right to exclude from the competition any business that engages in activities intended to devalue women.

 

How does voting work?

In each voting category, no special treatment is shown to Northwest Woman Magazine’s advertisers or business associates. In all voting categories, readers can choose from the listed businesses. Readers may only vote once in any category. If a reader votes in any category more than once, the last vote entered will be counted and any previous votes will be disregarded.

When is voting?

Voting begins April 1st and ends at 11:59 a.m. on June 30th 2008.

When will winners be announced?

The names of the winners will be posted on Northwest Woman Magazine’s August/September 2008 issue.
